What is STEM at the Primary School Level, Anyway?

STEM education for elementary students covers basic math, science, and tech concepts. It also lets students practice problem-solving with simple science and engineering projects. As students explore the world and learn how things work, they develop critical thinking skills that will help them throughout their lives.

01

Science

Science enables us to develop our interest in, and understanding of, the living, material and physical world and develop the skills of collaboration, research, critical enquiry, experimentation, exploration and discovery. For us, science class is EVERYDAY.

02

Technology

Our technology in STEM education includes online learning, typing instruction, 3-D printers, interactive smart boards. All our classes have computers and internet access.

03

Engineering

Engineering is a part of STEM education that connects the disciplines of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Engineers use scientific knowledge and mathematics to design, build, and maintain technologies to solve problems. At Morgan, our students have three (3) engineering classes per week.

04

Math

Math is our middle name. From nursery to upper elementary, there is an emphasis on mathematical acquisition. As students mature, so does their deeper understanding of mathematical concepts.
